Director Igor Cobileanski

Igor Cobileanski is a scriptwriter and director from the Republic of Moldova. Born in 1974, he studied directing in Bucharest. He has made several short and documentary films. THE UNSAVED (2013), his feature-length debut written together with Corneliu Porumboiu, won the FIPRESCI Prize at Cottbus Film Festival, as well as the Gopo Awards for Best First Feature Film and Best Cinematography in 2014. His second feature film, the Romanian-Lithuanian comedy EASTERN BUSINESS, won Best Script and Best Actor (Ion Sapdaru and Constantin Pușcașu) at the Tallinn Black Nights in 2016.
