The first feature film written and directed by actress Alina Grigore, who became popular playing in local soap operas and later worked with film directors such as Cristi Puiu and Adrian Sitaru. Alina Grigore had previously written the screenplay, together with director Adrian Sitaru, for ILEGITIM/ILLEGITIMATE (2016), in which she starred. In 2011 Alina Grigore founded the InLight private acting school focusing on personal development through performing art; around 400 graduates have played in over 10 films and 50 theatre premieres. BLUE MOON is a project developed within the InLight acting school (the same as in the case of ILLEGITIMATE). Actress Ioana Chițu has her first leading role in a feature film.
